Magna International partners with Sanctuary AI, investing in AI robot integration for manufacturing.

Auto parts maker Magna International has signed a strategic partnership with Sanctuary AI to develop and integrate general purpose AI robots into its manufacturing operations. The partnership includes a strategic equity investment by Magna. Sanctuary AI, founded in 2018, specializes in technologies such as dexterous humanlike hands and an AI control system. Magna has been an investor in the Vancouver-based company since 2021.
