A 40-foot container fell on a car at the Lagos end of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Friday, killing a woman inside her car. The car's driver miraculously survived the accident, as stated by the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA). The driver of the articulated truck carrying the container, along with his assistant, fled the scene immediately after the accident occurred. LASTMA officials, Lagos State Ambulance Service, and other relevant agencies attended the scene, and the deceased woman's body was handed over to the police.
