Canadian ex-space engineer Wanping Zheng acquitted of breach of trust charges related to Chinese aerospace company Spacety.

Former Canadian Space Agency engineer Wanping Zheng was acquitted of breach of trust charges related to his dealings with a Chinese aerospace company while he was employed by the federal agency. Quebec court Judge Marc-Antoine Carette ruled that while Zheng's actions warranted disciplinary measures, the Crown failed to prove he committed a crime. Zheng was accused of using his position to act on behalf of Chinese aerospace company Spacety.
