Canadian director David Cronenberg's horror film "The Shrouds," starring Vincent Cassel, Diane Kruger, and Guy Pearce, is among the 19 films competing for the Palme d'Or at the 77th Cannes Film Festival from May 14 to 25. The dark film revolves around a businessman who invents technology to monitor deceased loved ones. Other notable Canadian films at the festival include "Rumours," starring Cate Blanchett, and Paul Schrader's "Oh Canada."
