Victoria PD have arrested a bookkeeper, Galyna Kulykova, accused of stealing $1.7M from a non-profit organization. The non-profit contacted police after noticing fraud during a scheduled audit. Kulykova was charged with fraud over $5,000, theft over $5,000, and falsifying documents. The funds allegedly stolen were used to purchase gold, cryptocurrency, and a new vehicle.
