28-year-old man arrested in connection with Australia's largest ever pharmaceutical drug seizure, 722 kg of Alprazolam (Xanax) with an estimated street value of $12 million. The drugs were discovered during a search warrant execution linked to an investigation of interstate transportation of cash suspected of being linked to criminal activity. The man was arrested later in Wagga Wagga, NSW, and charged with supplying a prohibited drug greater than a large commercial quantity and knowingly dealing with the proceeds of crime.
