28-year-old Jacob Akers, wanted for abduction, assault on law enforcement, and fleeing from police, led a multi-state pursuit from Bluefield, Virginia to Bluefield, West Virginia, before being arrested in Bland County. The chase began when the Bluefield, Virginia Police Department received a call about Akers being sighted at a local Walmart. He eventually abandoned his vehicle and was found and arrested in Bland County.
