23-year-old Fresno Pacific University student-athlete Miguel Ortiz Montilla has been arrested over a deadly hit-and-run incident that killed 38-year-old Bryant Fields on April 4. Montilla, a senior on the baseball team, was identified through video evidence and is charged with hit-and-run involving death. The university is cooperating with the investigation and expressing support for all involved.
