On Eid day at Bangladesh National Zoo in Dhaka, a boy was tragically killed by an elephant during a performance. The boy, the son of an elephant handler, was with his father when the elephant grabbed the boy with its trunk and slammed him to the ground. The child was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead. The elephant involved in the incident has been separated and is now under special observation.
