WellSouth's Fracture Liaison Service wins a Silver Award in the International Osteoporosis Foundation's 'Capture the Fracture' program.
WellSouth Primary Health Network's Fracture Liaison Service (FLS) wins a Silver Award in the International Osteoporosis Foundation's 'Capture the Fracture' program, during April Falls month. The service, funded by ACC and delivered in Otago and Southland, achieved the recognition in its third year of delivery, and the second year of participation in the ANZ Fragility Fracture Registry. The milestone is rewarding for the service's clinical lead, Dr Richard Macharg, and his team.
