Vietnam criticizes UN human rights reports for inaccuracies, unverified content, and unobjective assessments.
Vietnam has expressed disappointment with UN human rights reports, stating that they contain many inaccurate and unverified contents, as well as unobjective, unbalanced assessments. Deputy Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Doan Khac Viet expressed this dissatisfaction despite the full presence of UN agencies in Vietnam and their long-term cooperation with various Vietnamese ministries, agencies, and localities. The process of developing Vietnam's 4th cycle UPR National Report was carried out seriously, comprehensively, and with full participation of relevant parties, according to Khac Viet.
