Local start-up Tiny Pod transforms decommissioned SMRT train carriage into Singapore's first co-living 'train hotel', expected to open in September at one-north. The Train Pod @ one-north will offer eight 7.5 sq m rooms, each with an attached bathroom and a smart-lock system developed by Igloo Home. Hotel staff will not be physically stationed, but a cleaning team will handle room turnovers.
