The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is conducting new interviews with Boeing and FAA personnel as part of an ongoing investigation into a January in-flight emergency on an Alaska Airlines 737 MAX 9, where a door plug blew off shortly after takeoff. The NTSB is looking into other instances where door plugs were opened and closed to ensure that proper documentation is available. Last month, Boeing stated that required documents detailing the removal of the door plug in the Alaska Airlines plane were never created.
