Nigeria's Dangote Refinery reduces diesel price from N1,650-N1,700 to N1,200, aiming to alleviate inflation.
Nigeria's Dangote Refinery is selling diesel at N1,200 per litre, a significant reduction from the previous market price of N1,650-N1,700. Aliko Dangote, Chairman of Dangote Group, expects this decrease in diesel prices to provide immediate relief to Nigeria's inflation problems. He believes the reduction in fuel costs will help drive down inflation in the coming months and has already positively impacted the price of locally-produced goods such as flour.
