The Metro Manila Council has mandated local government units in Metro Manila to adjust their working hours to 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., starting April 15. This initiative aims to reduce traffic congestion in the National Capital Region by spreading out the flow of employees during peak hours. The MMDA recommends President Marcos to issue an executive order for the implementation of the modified working hours.
