Malaysia and Pakistan have agreed to strengthen their ties, particularly in trade and investment, according to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif proposed exporting halal meat from Pakistan to Malaysia during a phone call with Anwar. Both leaders also discussed regional and international issues, including the situations in Gaza and Afghanistan.
