Kering appoints Stefano Cantino as Gucci's deputy CEO to aid in brand revitalization.
Kering, the French luxury group, has appointed Stefano Cantino as Gucci's deputy CEO to help revitalize the Italian luxury brand. Cantino, with experience at Louis Vuitton and Prada, will join Gucci on May 2 and work alongside CEO Jean-François Palus. Cantino's appointment comes after Gucci faced declining sales and organizational changes, including the stepping down of CEO Marco Bizzarri.
