Italy's Industry Minister Adolfo Urso criticized automaker Stellantis for producing Alfa Romeo's first electric vehicle, the Milano, in Poland instead of Italy, claiming it violates Italian law. The 2003 legislation targets "Italian sounding" products that falsely claim to be Italian. Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares said producing the Milano in Poland would reduce its retail price by 10,000 euros.
