Irish police officer arrested, questioned, and released in hit-and-run fatality investigation involving GAA coach Niall MacEneaney; GSOC ongoing.
A member of An Garda Síochána in Ireland was arrested and questioned in connection with a fatal hit-and-run incident on St Patrick's Day that resulted in the death of popular Drogheda man and GAA coach Niall MacEneaney. The officer has since been released without charge but remains suspended from duties. The Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission (GSOC) is conducting an ongoing investigation.
