Munil Shah, a former Microsoft and UiPath engineering leader, has joined San Francisco-based Talkdesk as CTO. Talkdesk sells software for customer service contact centers and has experienced multiple rounds of layoffs. Shah will lead the company's engineering efforts, focusing on accelerating AI roadmap and driving first-to-market technologies for AI-first customer experiences.
