Coral Gables, Florida, has overtaken Beverly Hills as the US's ritziest home market, with seven of the 10 most expensive neighborhoods located in Florida. This shift comes after the pandemic, during which California had six of the 10 priciest neighborhoods. The typical home price in the US has increased by the most in any comparable period since 1979, with home values at the end of 2023 up nearly 50% from 2019.
