Aldi has replaced plastic and card packaging with cardboard on its two-packs of Dentitex Soft and Whitening toothbrushes, saving 17 million tonnes of plastic annually. Aldi's Plastics and Packaging Director, Luke Emery, said reducing plastic is a "huge priority" for the supermarket chain. This change will not only help customers recycle but also contribute to their ongoing work to remove plastic wherever possible.
