Zoho Corporation, a SaaS firm, is venturing into manufacturing with Karuvi, a line of power tools. Inspired by a customer's idea, Karuvi is expected to generate rural employment in India. Zoho founder Sridhar Vembu and his team are producing the tools in a factory in Tenkasi, India. The power tool adoption in India is projected to grow at an 8.6% CAGR from 2023 to 2033.
