29-year-old Torey Franklin, a Grand Rapids man, has been sentenced to 26 years in federal prison for sex trafficking a minor. Franklin used online ads to arrange "sex dates" and would negotiate prices and sexual acts with prospective customers. He was arrested after offering the minor to an undercover investigator and pleaded guilty to sex trafficking a minor in December 2022.
