29-year-old Nida Khan was sentenced to four years in prison for defrauding her employer, Nanobits Ltd, an online business, of nearly £100,000 between Nov 2019 and Feb 2020. Khan, left in charge, withdrew £88,000 and used the account for personal purchases, leading Nanobits to refund £15,000 worth of orders and close down. West Midlands Police aim to pursue a Proceeds of Crime Act order to retrieve the stolen funds.
