A 51-year-old employee at Munich's Pinakothek der Moderne, one of Europe's biggest art galleries, has been fired for secretly hanging his own painting in an exhibition. The technical services team member, who considered himself an artist, drilled two holes in the wall to display his 60x120cm artwork. The unauthorized exhibition was discovered, leading to the employee's dismissal and a ban from the gallery.
