Wiz, a $10 billion cloud security firm, has acquired New York-based startup Gem Security in a deal aimed at expanding its Cloud Detection and Response (CDR) offering. Gem Security specializes in real-time cloud threat detection and response. This acquisition follows Wiz's December purchase of cloud developer collaboration startup Raftt. Wiz aims to consolidate organizations' cloud security needs through its expanding platform.
