Swiss chocolate maker Barry Callebaut's revenue rose 11% to CHF4.6bn ($5.1bn) in the first half, beating analyst estimates, as volumes increased amid challenging operating conditions. The company, which supplies chocolate for major brands, maintained its guidance for flat volumes this fiscal year. Barry Callebaut's revenue growth was driven by a so-called cost-plus pricing model for most of its business.
