Scottish Government approves 96MW Chleansaid Wind Farm near Lairg, producing power for 54,000 homes.
The Scottish Government has granted development consent for a 96MW wind farm project near Lairg. ESB's Chleansaid Wind Farm, which consists of 16 turbines, will produce enough power for approximately 54,000 homes and is set to be located on the Dalnessie Estate in the Scottish Highlands. The wind farm will also feature a 20MW battery energy storage scheme and supporting infrastructure.
