150 San Francisco library workers rallied outside the Main Library, calling for more branch security guards and increased full-time positions. The library currently employs 559 full-time and 486 part-time workers, with security incidents down 13.8% year-over-year in February. Library workers argue they face "potentially dangerous situations alone" due to the lack of security at most of the city's 28 library locations.
