Norfolk Southern completes historic depot renovation, acquires Field Office building in East Palestine after train derailment.

Norfolk Southern has made progress on its funded projects in East Palestine, a year after the train derailment. The historic train depot renovations are nearing completion, with most exterior work done, and a $100,000 grant provided for the village's development. Norfolk Southern also acquired the former Brittain Motors building in August 2022 to establish a Field Office.
