NASA's DC-8 plane completed its final ASIA-AQ mission, retires to Idaho State University for training.

NASA's DC-8 aircraft completed its final mission after 37 years, supporting the Airborne and Satellite Investigation of Asian Air Quality (ASIA-AQ). The plane returned to NASA's Armstrong Flight Research Center in Palmdale, CA, and is set to retire in May. The DC-8 will be transferred to Idaho State University for use in training aircraft technicians in their Aircraft Maintenance Technology Program.
