Missouri Senate passes legislation to block Medicaid reimbursements to Planned Parenthood.

Missouri Senate passes legislation to block Medicaid reimbursements to Planned Parenthood. The bill, which is nearly identical to a previous one filed by Senator Mary Elizabeth Coleman, would make it financially challenging for the state's Planned Parenthood clinics to continue seeing patients on Medicaid, as they would no longer be reimbursed for the cost of treating these low-income patients. The legislation now returns to the House, where it can be sent to Gov. Mike Parson to sign into law.
