12 people were killed and 15 injured when a bus carrying workers from a local distillery fell into a 50-feet-deep ditch in Chhattisgarh's Durg district on Tuesday night. The accident occurred when the bus, with over 40 people onboard, skidded off the road and plunged into the ditch near Khapri village. All victims were returning home from work when the incident occurred. The injured have been admitted to a local hospital.
