Prime Minister Modi defended abrogation of Article 370 and countered opposition claims of Constitution and democracy danger in a third term.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi attacked the opposition for claiming that the Constitution and democracy would be in danger if he wins a third term in office, asserting that his decision to abrogate Article 370 had ensured the statute book was implemented throughout the country. During a rally in Nagpur, Modi also accused the opposition of trying to mislead people with baseless accusations and of facing "bankruptcy" of new ideas.
