Grenade found outside Chase Bank in Queens; non-functional, bomb squad examination.

A grenade was found outside a Chase Bank in Queens near 112th Street and Liberty Avenue, leading to traffic disruptions and momentary suspension of subway service. The NYPD and FDNY were called to the scene after a construction crew discovered the suspicious device in a plastic bag. The bomb squad determined the grenade was inert and took it away for further examination.
