The European Union and India have partnered to promote innovation in electric vehicle (EV) battery recycling technologies through an Expression of Interest (EOI) for startups in this sector. The collaboration aims to strengthen cooperation between EU-Indian small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and startups in clean and green technologies, advancing circularity of rare materials and transitioning towards carbon-neutrality in both regions. A matchmaking event is planned for June, featuring a pitching opportunity for selected Indian and EU startups specializing in EV battery recycling technologies.
