Dr. Laura Barnett, with a 32-year career in education, announces her candidacy for Clarksville-Montgomery County School Board, District 2. Raised in Clarksville-Montgomery County Schools, Barnett earned her degrees from Austin Peay State University and Trevecca University. She has served as an English teacher, assistant principal, principal, and is currently an assistant professor and mentor principal in the Austin Peay Eriksson College of Education.
