3 critically endangered Mexican Gray Wolves were moved from California Wolf Center (CWC) to Brookfield Zoo, Chicago, as part of Association of Zoos and Aquariums' Saving Animals From Extinction program. CWC, a major SAFE Mexican Gray Wolf facility, has been involved in saving subspecies for 27 years. The relocated wolves will live separately from another pack at Brookfield Zoo to boost genetic diversity.
