Constellium and PyroGenesis partner to test plasma torch technology for decarbonization in aluminum melting process. Following successful lab trials, the companies will implement a demonstrator plasma-heated furnace system in one of Constellium's casthouses. PyroGenesis, a leader in advanced plasma technologies, could potentially reduce direct emissions by a factor of three compared to the current benchmark.
