Auckland Airport warns of its busiest days for flying during the school holidays, with the equivalent of Tauranga's population (160,000) arriving and departing from Fri-Sun. The single busiest day for international departures is Sunday 14 April, while Sunday 28 April is the busiest day for international arrivals. Domestic departures will peak on Friday 19 April and domestic arrivals on Thursday 11 April.
