Army Chief General Manoj Pande inaugurated a new 650-bed capacity Command Hospital in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir via a virtual mode. The hospital, spanning 60 acres and built at a cost of Rs 274 crore, has provisions for an additional 200 beds. It includes eight state-of-the-art operation theatres, a medical gas pipeline system, a fire fighting system, a central air conditioning system, and advanced medical treatment facilities.
