Android espionage campaign "eXotic Visit" targets users in India & Pakistan. Fake messaging apps, with XploitSPY malware, extract contact lists, files, GPS location & messaging app data. The malware hides sensitive info, making it harder for security tools to analyze. Ten additional apps with XploitSPY-based code were removed from Google Play, with 380 victims affected.
