29-year-old pedestrian critically injured by car in Portage; accident under investigation.
29-year-old pedestrian from Kalamazoo critically hurt after being hit by a car in Portage on Monday evening near the intersection of South Westnedge Avenue and West Milham Avenue. The driver, a 30-year-old Kalamazoo resident, was driving a 2016 Jeep Patriot. Police do not suspect alcohol or speed as factors in the accident, which remains under investigation by the Portage Department of Public Safety.
