37-year-old Joshua Slater-King, who shot his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend at Bonanza Casino on Fourth of July, has been sentenced to 41 years in prison for attempted murder. Slater-King pleaded guilty to attempted murder with the use of a firearm, assault with the use of a firearm, burglary while in possession of a firearm, and discharging a firearm within a structure. He will be eligible for parole after 12 years.
