Vista Equity Partners acquires Model N for $1.25bn, a 23% premium, in a mid-2024 deal.
Model N shares (NYSE: MODN) rose after Vista Equity Partners agreed to acquire the company for $1.25 billion, or $30.00 per share in cash. The deal represents a 23% premium over Model N's 30-trading-day volume-weighted average share price as of January 10, 2024, and a 16% premium over its 30-trading-day volume-weighted average share price as of April 5, 2024. The transaction is expected to close in mid-2024, subject to customary closing conditions.
