TVNZ confirms job cuts and end of several shows, including Fair Go after 47 years. However, the Fair Go brand will be retained on digital platforms with a new team being established. TVNZ plans to create four new roles focusing on long-form consumer and current affairs for TVNZ digital platforms. The state broadcaster will hold meetings with staff regarding the proposed changes, which also include the end of the Midday and Tonight news bulletins.
