Authorities in Singapore have seized over $7 million worth of vaping components and vapes in the first quarter of 2024, as they stepped up efforts to crack down on vaping. More than 2,200 people were caught for possessing or using vapes, with around 250 cases detected in schools and institutes of higher learning. Since March, first-time offenders in schools and higher learning institutions face fines of up to $2,000.
