PBS acquires U.S. broadcast rights for Lion Television's upcoming factual series "Pompeii: The New Dig" from All3Media International. The series, premiering on BBC Two, follows the biggest excavation of Pompeii in a generation, revealing buried secrets and unsolved mysteries beneath volcanic ash. PBS will debut the series on May 15, with additional episodes airing on May 22 and 29.
