Ohio imposes quarantine on 6 counties, restricting boxwood shrub movement due to invasive box tree moth detection, first spotted in June 2023. The moths pose a threat to boxwood plantings & horticulture industry. ODA & USDA will conduct inspections & place traps to monitor populations. Residents & landscapers are encouraged to check quarantine boundaries & report suspected infestations.
